I'll be receiving this S/W sometime this week. Anyone got any suggestions for tuning a stock 5.3 in a 2000 Denali and a 2000 Silverado? I don't know anything about HPTuners except it's a great program but I'm fixing to learn. I was wondering if there was a certain setting you guys used on here. I'm not quite ready for the 97 with the LS1 yet.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am just starting to learn to use the software myself, so cant give any tips yet! It is great software, the scanner is the best IMO.

I would start by going over to http://hptuners.com/forum/ and http://ls1tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7 and looking through their PCM tuning section. They both have good writeups on where to begin.
I would start by removing as much TM as you feel comfortable with. Then move on to the VE tuning. After that, you can work on timing and WOT settings.

But read up on the stickies they have. Thats were I've gotten most of my knowledge from.

Like Zick said, those two sites are the best. They beat the crap out of the LS1Edit site.
