I was thinking about switching the 26 gallon gas tank on my truck with a 32 gallon gas tank from a Suburban. Does anyone know if it is a direct swap?

Hmmmmm....I have a suburban gas tank in my garage. It was mounted in the back end of the truck where a spare tire is mounted behind the rear bumper. I was going to use it to move more weight over the rear tires. This was out of a 95 4x4 suburban.

Blender, thats a damn good question! I bet the truck would even ride better. The suburban has differant rear suspension.Hey! how bout coil spring suspension from the avalanche or burb......for those that dont do heavy load hauling. The burb and avalanche ride really nice.BTW blender did you ever get the measurements off of the 03-05 a/c controls.Im still working on the dual zone idea Way too many irons in the fire

These are the only tanks I have heard of for our trucks. GM tanks

yeah the a/c controls are the same size... It looks like they just shifted the a/c controls lower and made the opening for the head unit "taller"
