I used autotap to log with originally. Can't tune with it. Just log. Can't comment on LS1Edit for I have never used it. HP tuners is also coming out with their new Enhanced I/O USB adapter next week and has provisions for 1-2-3 Bar upgrades.I am going to purchase my own tuning software and I would like some feedback from users as far as LS1 edit, hp tuners and auto tap?

I would go with HPTuners if I was you!
HPT all the way. It's only locked to the year and model of vehicle you purchase. LS1edit is great but only good for one PCM only. It is locked to the processor ID inside the PCM. If your PCM craps out and dies it will no longer work and you'll have to get the cable reset by Carputing. They charge you for it too. HPT can be sold after you're done with it, if you choose.

LS1edit compared to HPtuners is like comparing DOS to Windows; they both get the job done, however, HPT has a very user friendly interface.
The biggest difference is, HPtuner has loggin ability and it's tied in with the programming.
I can't comment on EFILive, I've used it, but not enough, but it seems to be just like HPT.

HPT add the way, very easy to use! It's made it really easy for me to get started.
