AC Does not work after swap

Completely done with swap, only issue is AC will not work, compressor kicks on but is not cooling, only thing different with a/c system is I tied the trigger wire for the fans onto the green wire on the compressor clutch, any suggestions, it was blowing ice cold before and does not need any freon

Are you sure the a/c door is open? The 1991 was notorious for bad a/c control parts inside the truck. The blend door will quit working and the control panel on the dash will quit feeding data to the control motors. Feel the lines, one side should be cold and the other should be hot.

Mine is doing the same thing. I tied to the clutch wire just like you did. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me.
Mine is cool but not cold. BTW im using dd mount.

Tieing into the actual clutch wire is a no-no. Tie into the signal wire from the PCM or the clutch relay behind the glove box for a signal to trigger the fans.

Red, do you know what color wire it is on the relay>?> My truck is a 1994 model, all the doors are working, switches from floor to dash, none of the lines on the system are getting cool

nope, go behind the glove box and see if you have a bank of 3 or 4 relays. Ones of those relays triggers the a/c clutch. Tie into the trigger wire, not the signal wire going to the clutch.

Whats wrong with doing it like this? Not trying to contest you.. but i actually have mine that way.. tying into the green clutch wire i mean

Introduces corrosion into a load bearing wire and if you cut any strands of wire under the insulation you put resistance in the wire.
