    running real rich

ok all this has been a long time comming. I finally finished installing my front mount turbo on my 68 chevy pickup. The turbo is a 60 mm so it is small but a place to start. Injectors are 62 pound so I can upgrade.
Startup is great idle is great with my wide band right around that 15 ish mark. Normal driving seems to keep the Air fuel ratio about in that range. At any tip in or throttle my AF jumps to 10. This seems to be even before I get any boost maybe as it gets close to zero on vaccuum. Now with this small turbo the boost is there just thinking about it. This was the maden trip so it was short and very little throttle used however it does jump to the 7 to 8 psi and opens the WG. I have driven only 5 or so miles again very easy.
My BOV is before my MAF sensor. I know you may need more info but that is the start.
I am waiting to hear back on my tune but wanted to know if there is anything else maybe even obvious I have missed. This is all new to me but I cant drive this right now like it is. It will to as rich (10) as my gage will go even with somewhat normal driving.
Any thoughts or just maybe the tune.
    thanks
    Dave

Hey Dave, sorry for the delay, just got behind on some things.

I'm sure we tuned for all the mods, which such a big modification you did, it could be a few things.
I'll double check my side and get back to you.

It could be the maf, that controls a/f ratio, I've seen them dump fuel.

    Thanks

When I first had my tune done through Allen mine ran pig rich as well. Granted I told him to make sure it ran pig rich so I could start it, but once I got it fine tuned it was just fine. Albeit I am Speed Density tune with no MAF.

I am using a stock truck mainfold on the drivers side with the o2 sensor in that stock position. The "log" manifold has a bung right below the turbo flange (if I remember correctly) and my wide band is up close to the turbo exit in the down pipe.
I have Autotap logging software i have used in the past and sent you that info back when I had you tune it the first or second time but they were always close just a tweak. I have not even tried to hook that up now since I have not driven it much.
I will confirm again where all those are but they are in the positions as the hot pipes came to me. I did add a bung down in the cross over but plugged it the project took me quite a bit of time to get it together the way I wanted it so I had forgotten the right 02 sensor was behind the turbo flange till my final install it was hidden.
I dont have any check engine light but can try to hook my scanner up to see if it might help.
My BOV is fairly close but before my MAF sensor.

Are 62 lb injectors what you told him you have when you filled out the tune paperwork? The 02 sensors will lean out the the fuel at idle but once you go into PE mode it's gonna go open loop and no feedback so accurate data needs to be there for tuning the injectors.

the passenger side is the one that is located right below the turbo flange.

Yea Allen knew the injectors but the thing seems to be is that at idle it is fine but it will according to my wide band go rich (peg to 10) with just the slightest bit of accelleration not full throttle not even getting into boost (unless it is maybe a pound) if my gage is not exact. I am sure it is not even going into open loop unless there is another function that makes it. The tuning is all new to me I know eventually I will need to get the software so I can learn and tweak on it.
