Hey, I'm new here. I found this link on a Fullsize forum...

I have a 2001 GMC sierra Sportside. It has been dubbed project esoteric. I got 5/7/05 and I have big plans. I'm still not sure If I want to dump in a LS1, LQ4 or LQ9 but no matter what I drop in it will probably get a turbo hooked on it aswell. =)

    I need to replace that 4.3 =P

Sweet truck! Yeah, you need at least a V8. Who likes seeing such a sweet truck and then hear the little V6 exhaust? Now maybe if it were turbo'd it wouldn't be so bad.

Truck looks great. Put some balls under it to complete the package. Highly recommend turbo, too much fun.

Yea I am pretty set on a 6.0 I just don't know if I want the LQ4 or the LQ9, I know the LQ4 has a lower compression rate which is better for the turbo possibly, but I've seen some turbo Escalades (stock LQ9) and they run it OUT!
