wonder if you can find a freeze plug the size of the hole and drive it in for a temporary fix.

Or just drill them out and use some thin bolts with lockwashers to hold it in place!

Let's face it, the red hair... makes 'em wet.
It's a little getto, but it worked. I cut the end off of the EGR Tube and threaded a plug into it. You could probably thread the plug directly into your exhaust manifold.
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106
well thsat os quite clever i went and bought some edelbrock ceramic headers and theyre hopefully goin in tommorrow and i have a plate to go over the EGR
