Well..my truck is not my daily driver anymore. I bought a little beater to drive to back and forth to work and school...93 Toyota Trecel....300bucks...35mpg couldnt pass it up. So heres my deal. The truck is going to be parked in garage so now I can play with it. Since I have decided to stick with the 5.3 for now the first thing in order is heads and cam. I know they can do wonders with these heads and I was curious as to whats a better deal. Have the head work done or just look int buying new heads. And along with that, a new cam. WHat kind of grind should i look at to give me some bottom end grunt...a good top end but keep the driveability. Gas mileage isnt a huge factor since its gonna be a weekend truck now. But any advice on the heads, cam, springs and rods would be greatly appreciated.....
