i have a 99 seirra z71 and every once in a while the passlock thing kicks in and the fuelk is shutoff and its a pain in the ass becasu then i hafto wait like 5 mins before i cant start my truck... anyone know what to do?????

sounds like maybe the diode in the key is effed up or the switch sensor. I take it that you are out of warranty? Can the dealer test the key and switch? Other than that you can have the VATS disabled in the PCM but then you leave yourself open for thefts. Been there Done that Not happy.
