well i just purchased a 99 1500 4x4 with 128k miles. pretty stoked about it. i bought it will a trashed transmission. i consider the truck to be pretty rare. its an ext cab short bed 4x4 with a 4.8/auto. has all power interior thats cloth. but the 4x4 lever is in the floor not push button. i have a transmission out of a 1999 chevy blazer its 4x4 i know its good. the only thing is, it has a push button 4x4 t case. can i swap this trans into this truck without any problems? they are both 1999 4l60e's the blazer had a 4.3 and i have a 4.8. will it swap right in and will my t-case go in? its only temporary as i dont have the money to swap a 80e in right now. thanks in advance!
