    Im living in NW Houston right now. About to do a lift/tires/big brakes on my '01 Z71.

    I would hope that's a tow strap. You aren't playing hard enough if you don't get stuck a time or two while wheelin'

    That is a tow strap, yes!


    It was an 11,000 lb ProComp tow strap that broke pulling my friends Jeep out of a mudhole.

    We always used a 1-1/2" nylon snatch rope that in it's 30 ft length would stretch a good 5 to 10 ft when we hooked to a stuck wheeler. We would hammer down and get the stretch on the rope and lock the truck down. Then when the stuck wheeler would start to drive out we'd gouge down on our truck. Worked really good using that method. Never broke a rope or damaged either vehicle.
