Hey everybody, a couple of guys that own TA's asked me if I wanted to go to the track on thursday. So I said sure why not, it will be the first time since the LS1 swap. Anyone near or familiar with the Jackson, SC dragstrip. Well if anyone is interested in going that will be awesome. Its always cool to see owners of slowtangs and ricers drop their jaw when they get anihilated by a truck, specially an ugly one like mine.

Yeah, there's nothing quite so embarassing as getting outrun by a school bus!

Well I beat a 00' Civic SI, 04 Tiburon V6, and believe it or not a 95 TA. However my fastest time was only a 14.8 @ 95something. I got the ticket Ill post it tomorrow. I could not get any traction I swear. Thats what I spected though. I made 3 runs and I could probably drop another 10th or 2 but it was all about traction. When I get back from afghanistan 4.10's with Possi and drag radials should put me in the 13's no problem. For right now I cant complain. Whoever came up with the One-Wheeled Wonder style rearend needs to die!

They just created those open diffs to save you rebuilding your rearend every two months. I suggest an Auburn limited slip. Mine has about 200k on it and still locks excellent. Two wheel burnouts-a-plenty at the strip. Sounds like you had a good time. When do you get deployed ?

    OK here it goes,

    Best Ticket Worst Ticket
    60 Feet 2.55 2.77
    300 Ft. 6.59 6.85
    1/8 9.71 10.06
    1/8 TS 77.86 77.64
    1/4 14.85 15.16
    1/4 TS 95.96 95.52

I think the trap speeds are great, but like I said traction is nowhere to be found during the launch. Do you guys use anykind of weights on the bed?

Well Friday I tried to drive to NC but the power steering pulley decided to fall off somewhere along I-20 east and take the belt with it and punch a hole on the reservoir. So I ordered I new P.S. pump assembly but it wont be here till thursday, so on the meantime I'm running a smaller belt which bypassed the P.S. pump but let me tell you its a hard turn.
By the way yall Im leaving next sunday I'll try to post while Im overthere. Laters.
