these are the autolite replacxements for the ngk tr55. i ran two or three times on the juice. i have them gapped at 40. well had. the last two are cylinder 5 and 7. no wonder it was running bad. i hit it today and it was backfiring all the way home top. i did a compression check. all cylinders were 175 except the one with the broke plug it was 170. not to bad at all. think i am going to the store for some tr6's again.

Damn, you get all the luck!!! Do you think maybe those two cylinders were running a little lean and pinging? That third one is a little red there. I can't remember what that's a sign of.

I just looked up the red tinge ordeal and they say that the red tinge is just the fuel additives in unleaded fuels discoloring the porcelain. It's kind of strange that it's only on one plug but Autolite says don't worry about the red color.
