    Traction

    Im looking into getting some traction help. Just want to get you guys opinion on it.

    Why is there a big diff in price?

    none of the ones on summit will work on our trucks, thats probably the difference in price, plus neither will solve your traction issues,

    why wouldnt caltracs or homemade caltracs help traction?

    Have you ever seen the caltracs on a vehicle? I'm curious as to how noticable they are. And if they actually do help with traction too

    I have them. You really have to be looking to know they are there. They're not as noticable as the old slapper bars. The Caltracs work great, IMO.

    with red on that, there really not noticeable, unless youre looking, as for traction, i am sure they help somewhat, but they help more in preventing wheel hop and axle rap.

    Old school yellow slapper bars are a real knee slapper! I think a good tire is just as good as any slapper bar.
