I'm finally addressing my fuel upgrades and would love some suggestions. I've been told #42 Injectors and both a Walbro or a BoostaPump. The motor is running LEEEAAAN, very lean. The tuner just improvised for the fuel starvation, and at the time I did not know any better. I wanted to confirm that I indeed need the Walbro, knowing damn well I need the injectors. Also, will the 42's be enough or do I go higher? Are there any setbacks to going with a larger than necessary injector? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm tired of wasting money. After installation by either G Force here in Houston or Nelson if I have time to make it to San Antonio I'd do a dyno tune.

Get walbro pump and 60# injectors. you'll be close to maxed out with the 42#.

Are you still running stock injectors with the charger? If so, I wouldn't drive it until I got the fuel upgrades. Like Foggy said, get the 60's and a Walbro and you should be good.

Make sure you get the High Pressure 255 Walbro.

and +1 on 60's, give you a little wiggle room later if you
ever wanted to bump the boost up some.

It's possible. I'm assuming that you have a wideband to tell you that it was running lean. Driving it is not a big deal as long as you stay out of boost, but I definitely would not be making any track runs until I got the fuel system upgraded. It won't take much to fry a piston if you are running lean. If you start noticing excessive blow by, then the damage is already done.

You'd be fine with 42's if say your on a budget and got them for cheap. But as far as wiggle room for more power later, yes you'd want the 60's.

It's possible. I'm assuming that you have a wideband to tell you that it was running lean. Driving it is not a big deal as long as you stay out of boost, but I definitely would not be making any track runs until I got the fuel system upgraded. It won't take much to fry a piston if you are running lean. If you start noticing excessive blow by, then the damage is already done.

I'd do a compression test just to be sure
