    Cam Numbers?

    I pulled the cam out of the motor im building. Its a stock gm cam but I searched the part number online and havent come up with anything. Nathan maybe you can help here. It says 0967 S 09 6151
    2000 Silverado ECSB- 5.3 CAI, Pacesetter LTs, ORY- Pipe, Magnaflow XL, E-fan, Ported T/B , Nelson Tuned, Built 4l60e, Circle D Stall, 3.42s G80, 2-4 Drop, Hertz Highs, Rockford 501s

    the four number grouping is the last four digits of a GM part number. Don't know if its the 6151 or 0967 but its one of those two. With a little research you may be able to find the specs on that cam. What engine is it out of, L92, LQ4, LQ9?

    I have tried and have been unsuccesful. Is it the right number?

    Did a little searching for you. Found the the prefix to that 4 digit code is 1256, popped the whole code in google, and viola! Click! Looks like a good manual to pick up for these engines as well.
