    Whose Truck Isn't Running??

It seems like there are quite a few people on here who are without their trucks right now and have been for a while. Since I fall in that category, I was curious as to the following:

    - What happened to your truck?
    - How long has/will it be until you get it back?
    - What are you driving while it's in the shop?

Mine popped a ringland on #7 so I'm getting it bored to a 5.7 with forged pistons, total seal rings, ARP's all the way, 317's and some other stuff. It's been down since March 25th!! The motor should finally be ready next week so I should be up an running with an updated tune by the 1st of August. I'm driving a '98 3/4 ton Suburban with a BB454 averaging 12.8 mpg!!

2004 Silverado Crew Cab, forged iron 5.7, STS w/MP turbo, 10+ psi, FMIC, Tial 50mm BOV, Vic Jr, Snow performance meth, MTI Stealth cam .220/.220 .581/.581 115lsa, Comp chromoly pushrods, Yank TT3000 stall, LS1 Efans, 160 tstat, Trucool 40k trans cooler, 60# injectors, Walbro fuel pump, Patriot springs, Built 4l65E w/billet input & output shafts, Eaton posi, SD tuned...all installed by Klein North Automotive

Truck was perfectly fine, still starts and all. But has no wheels and tires, brakes, steering, driveshafts on it due to Solid Axle Swap.

Been bout 3 months maybe more since I last drove it!!!

Been driving my 06 TB I6. I am itchin to hear that thing screamin down the road but going nowhere fast!

My TBSS has been down since December...

    - The tune shrunk my pistons in my TSP built motor. I had piston skirt and cylinder wall scratches after 3k miles... I found it while changing the oil and I had metal in the pan.
-Should be done this year sometime. Since I needed a new motor, which I have now, I decided to go big cubes and twin 76's, junk the 4L70e trans for a TH400 w/ trans brake and Neal Chance 3600 stall, Junk the 14 bolt for a Fab9 rearend, new driveshaft, Sheetmetal intake, custom stainless turbo headers, 10 point cage, 17" drag wheel setup, Fuel system good to 1600 hp, changed PCM's, 2- Kirkey racing seats and a new Nelson tune since I changed pcm's
-My trusty 99' S10 with cold a/c and 28 mpg
    30' Ford Model A Tudor Sedan - Custom chassis - Big bore LS2 - twin B76's - Glide - 9" w/ 3.07 gears - 30" DR tire - 2k lbs cruiser

Homie isnt messing around. I would love to have a Neal Chance converter. Its what we used in the 815 c.i. car.. You can take those apart to clean them out, change staters or whatever..

Mine has had some issues. First it was lifter problems. Swapped them thought we were good then my tick came back. On advice of a reputable engine builder in SA told me to run 50wt till I swap to another engine. On the bright side my tick is gone and truck is running pretty strong. Not enough boost!
