hey folk probably an easy question for someone, i have a 2004 sierra with a 5.3 in it and the engine is no good, will a 2001 5.3 work with no big changes???

yep, swap your intake and sensors to the new engine and have fun!

Oh no, to me its a cake walk. If you have the tools and some experience its going to be an easy swap.
