Is this possible, I have a hotrod book that shows a roots style charger on top of the intake and a turbo down below. I'm sure the roots charger is for take off and the turbo pulls him across the line. Anybody ever see this?
Just wondering if the charger, like a radix , whipple, magnacharger would be too restrictive.
Not that I'm going to do this, just wondering,

    thanks,

I'm thinking exactly like you said ... there will be a bottle neck at the blower. The old skewl diesels used to have a chain or gear driven roots on top and a turbo in front of that, but that was a diesel, and they were mammoth.

I seen that on 'Trucks!' one day in the now you know segment or something like that.

That's a 2 cycle diesel, needs both to run from what I understand.

See if 02Denali will post up, he know a thing or two about diesel motors...

They overdrive one turbo with another on diesels all the time. I don't see why it wouldn't work especially if you have a blow off valve between the turbo and the blower.
