    Is the 6.0 the best?

I started another thread like this on fullsizechevy. Everyone said its a great motor. Others said there is other really good motors to. After I met all the guys from performance truck.net i saw that they are all running with the 6.0.

I am talking these guys are making some serious power. Any input?

LS3 will beat the pants off a 6L engine without any modifications.

New they're under $6500. Check out SDPARTS.com and CrateEngineDepot.com for GM prices on complete engine assemblies.

Thats to much you guys. I want to get moving fast. I had a friend get a 6.0 for 800 bucks out of a burned denali.

Hes pushing over 800 pound feet of tq with the turbo : ) Thats why i want to get a 6.0 out of a truck and swap it in and do some simple mods. I think i will be moving plenty fast by then.

you can find a 6.0 for under 1k. add heads and cam and your way above the power of the Ls3 for alot less money. for the money you spend on the 377 you could have a built 6.0 turned 377 for the same price and have better power

or if your stuck on using the Ls3 heads and intake you can toss those on a 6.0 and still be cheaper and have same motor essentially
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
