ok, so heres the deal. i told alot of you guys at the meet, but with the way everything is going right now my family cant really afford to keep my truck. But im going to be getting a job in about a week. so heres the options:

#1 - me use a bunch of the money i make so i can keep the truck i have now and slowly make it what i want

#2 - try to sell my truck and buy a cheap truck and use some of the leftover cash to make it what i want prety quickly

#3 - try to sell my truck and buy someones truck that is already all built up

if you guys have any other ideas feel free to chime in and say so

IMO the truck resale market sucks!keep what you have and make it what you want.If you sell it,you will lose some....but trucks are pretty cheap now too.Rosscobb has a nice ride for sale

man there is a 11 sec truck for sale on here right now for 25k.... good deal for what it is. but i still like building my own. its cheaper to buy one tho..... my .02

i didnt really want to try to get rid of my truck until i saw that one.

if i were to sell my truck and get a different one, i would spend around 10-15k on the truck then have somewhere around 8-10k to mod with FYI

thats also something ive thought about. i dont have the knowledge to completely do my own build, and if i did do alot of the work myself i would almost have to second guess the way it had been done. so i owuld have to pay a shop to do alot of the major work

That way you own the truck, and make it whatever you want.

Im with jeff on this one, id go with #2. you say you dont have the knowledge to completely do your own build. well the way i see it is it will be a learning process, sure your going to f up something sometime but you will learn from it and you will be proud when the truck is all done.

Id go with number two. Like quik said you build it, you know what you did, and when something goes wrong, you know where to look
