Installed one today and now the truck runs 10 to 20 degrees cooler but also runs 10 to 20 degrees warmer. Anyone else had this problem?

David,
2003 GMC Sierra Denali, LQ4, AWD, AWS, 4.10, Wheatley 93 tune, LT headers, GMPP CAI, BBK 80mm TB, MSD wires, E3 plugs, 160* T-stat, Flowmonster DI/DO, cutouts. Working on 4.8 heads, just purchased Comp 228R cam, 918 Springs, TI retainers, 7.4 hardend pushrods,
Warmer than the stock t-stat.

What else can i tell youWith the stock t-stat the guage never got above 210. Now with the 160* it runs about 190* to 200* but has climbed up to 225* to 230*. I'll try purging the system again tomorow might still have a air pocket in it.
