Alright, after buying a 6.0 from a junkyard, we found it had rusty pitted in the cylinder. After the refund i will start with my project for the boosted 4.8. I am planning on getting it bored out to LS1 Spec(3.898) The parts list is as follows:
Hydraulic Roller Lifter Set(16)
Lifters
Forged Piston Kit.
Piston Kit
A Crankshaft from a 5.3 or 6.0(Need to Find)
This is all i can think of that is needed for the conversion. Also, what compression would i have if i kept the stock heads for the 4.8? I dont really want to spend alot of extra money, so if those wont work i can just pick up some 317's off of and lq4 if needed. Does this look good?
