    Need input on NEW MOTOR!

O.K. guys, I am going the 370 from Texas Speed. Eagle crank, Scat H beams, Diamond pistons. 9 to 1 is the desired compression.
I will be using the L92 heads, and the GMPP intake with an Elbow and probably a 90mmTB.
The rest of my mods are in my sig.

I want to get up to at least 20-25 psi on the high setting.

Now Do I keep the 220/220 .581/.581 on a 115 cam or go with a different grind?

Any opinions are welcome on the cam or whole setup.

    Thanks,
    Jamest

Sounds like a great plan. He's got that huge blowdrier pushing cubes into the engine.

Yeah James--sounds like you going down the correct route to building a great turbo motor. Your existing cam will work better in that slightly larger displacement motor with built internals--you will be able to utilize the cam a lot better! How soon until you start putting this plan into motion?

not a cam expert, but since you are forcing everything past it's ability anyway, I don't think it matters much? if you like the drivability you have now, then I wouldn't change things. you can always force more to it.

That's probably a good cam. It has a wide LSA so there will be very little overlap. I'm running a 220/222-580/580-114 in my 408 and I love it. Idles like stock and has good vacuum, which is a must for me when towing. I think that cam will probably do very well in that engine.

For driveability, you may want to consider bringing that CR up a little bit. 9.0 sounds a little low...I personally wouldn't go below about 9.2 or 9.3 just so you have good running quality out of boost. At 25 psi I'm sure you're planning on running race fuel and methanol anyway, so the extra couple of tenths for compression shouldn't make a whole lot of difference. Just my opinion.
