93 octane NP tune, transgo shift kit & vette servo in today..

i got up this morning at 6 am.. i bet that happens to you all the time when you have your truck getting some performance upgrades done.. anyways, im waiting for the mechanic to open the shop to take him the tranny oil.. i bought royal purple oil for the tranny, he just installed the transgo hd2 shift kit and the vette servo... after that i will go to the dealer to ask the mechanic to install my nelson tuned pcm for me.. 2 questions here..
is Royal purple oil, worth the price?
is it the same to install a brand new pcm than Nelson's?? is the same relearn process?? thanks!

Put stock tranny fluid back in it if you use it for performance. That Royal Purple can be too slippery at times. The stock stuff costs a lot less and makes it more affordable to refresh more often.

I happen to like Royal Purple!

    Felix,
    Its just plug and play!
You might or might not have to do a Sercurity Relearn Procedure.
Nelson Performance - Security Relearn for no start

i just called up my friend who was supposed to bring me the royal purple oil from the US, and he say he only brought the engine oil... cause he went to pepboys and couldnt find royal purple oil for the tranny.. so.. i'll go to an autozone to buy it right now.. should i buy regular oil? or should i buy syntetic oil??

I personally like Royal Purple but my fiance chooses Valvoline Max Life Synethnic Blend to put in our Pickup.

Allen does use Mobil 1 for his vehicles!
