Thread: Anyone ever heard of DTS gears?

    a guy on pt.net is selling them and says they r the same as gm gears, just a diff name. anyone know? TIA

    They are the gears you get from 4wheelparts.com when you order OEM gears. Drivetrain specialty. They're what I got when I bought my 4.10s from 4wheelparts.

    Just looked at the box and it also says AAM, American Axle.

    are they any good? ive got a set lined up just have to say yes or no to paying the $75 for them. 3.73's with 1000 miles on them for $75 is hard to beat but idk about the brand. do they whine like other brands do?

    Mine are whisper quiet, absolutely no noise from them at all. If they are OEM quality you can't beat them. Be sure you get them setup correctly or they will whine. The setup is the most important thing for quiet gears.
