do these pulleys slow the alternator too much? does the charging of the battery stay around 14 volts? is it worth it for $250 for 12 hp but with potential problems since the vehicle is set to run @ 14 volts.

my alternator shows the same voltage but my a/c doesn't work quite as well at idle.
