I have an 02 trail blazer ext with 4x4 and 6cyl. I would like to swap out the 6cyl with LQ4 or LS1 block. Has this been done before? Any help would be appreciated.

Couldnt you just get an entire v8 drop out from another TB? It would probably be much easier and less expensive to just sell what you have and buy a v8 model.

Yeah it probably would be better but...but I can get an lq4 or ls1 pretty cheap...and my truck is almost paid off and the trailblazers will no longer be made. I've been told the only difference is the crossmember / cradle and program.
