I noticed sometimes when my truck shifts from 1-2 and rarely on the 2-3 under wot it will bounce the rev limiter.

Now when my WS6 started doing this I was told the trans was taking a dump, so i took it in for an upgrade/rebuild now it's great.

I thought I read on here somewhere that a shift kit and servo's will fix it, but I can't seem to find it now.

Can any one confirm this? That would be great cause I don't realy have the money for a complete rebuild.

    Thank

Check your transmission fluid level. Delayed/slow shifts between gears could be a sticking valve in the valvebody.

how many miles does the tranny have on it, if it is over 100000 then it could possibly be that is is getting tired....if not then prolly not much to worry about, does it have a tune in it, I dont really see any mods in your sig. My truck is set to shift at 6300 and rev limit at 6500 and sometimes from a kick, especially if it starts to spin it will go into the rev limiter. that is with a well built tranny. Im not to familiar with the shift kits and servos in these but once again when your adding harder shifts to it then it isnt gonna last as long, especially if it is over that 100,000 i was talkin about.

I hope this helps you out

Its got 39K miles. No tune, I want one but I'm waiting till I Get a Radix

The fluid level is right on the money.

Sticking valve; So you think its time to up grade the valve body? Or a trans flush? Both?

I should just do both, ya think.

Are the 373 gears in your truck stock or did you have them changed out? If you're running with a stock tune and you've changed the gears that's probably why you'd be bouncing off the rev limiter.

The 373's are stock. The whole truck is stock.
