Put fishing line between the pieces to pull them off, and then 3m adhesive remover from home depot to remove the excess glue.

Some guys used dental floss. I would think the fishing line trick should be much stronger. There are mega-strong lines out there that are really thin, such as spider-wire, that should do the trick quite well. I like the 3m stripe-off wheel to remove the glue and foam. It's like a big eraser that you power with a drill motor. It removes the gunk very quickly and does no damage to the paint underneath(unless your bodywork had been repainted before and they masked around the door bumpers).

Yup yup. Fishing line works good---just make sure you wear some freaking gloves or you will slice your fingers off. And yes, I am speaking from experience. Laugh all you want...

And that 3M stripe-off thing works good. Hook it up to a 3/8" drill and it comes right off.

I didn't like the fishing line, There was dirt under the sticky stuff and the dirt stuck to the line causeing scratches in the clear coat. It wasn't too bad easily fixed, but I would try to peal off the pices without it if you can.

When I did the 93, I used a plastic putty spreader under one corner then grabbed the door edge guard material with a pair of vise grips and pulled. It worked very well but I found the bed had been painted when it pulled a small piece of bondo off with the guard.
