Thread: headlights

    man i am stuck i am trying to figure out why my head lights wont come on, i tested the fuses (which theres no power to the fuse block) fuses look good checked wiring but i must be missing something everything else works just the damn headlights wont come on.... yes the lamps are new lol...

    this is what i tested pulled fuses, tested good, even tested where the fuses go in at.. test failed.. i have no power to the fuse holder or block...i even tried turning on the switch inside of truck still no go ... any help would be appreicated...

    Well, if you have a NBS truck, you have relays that turn on the headlights and are triggered by the BCM(body control module). You can turn the lights on by soldering on a grounded wire to terminal 85 I think. You may have to get your BCM reprogrammed or replaced.

    thanks red you been a big help i will give allen a call as he programmed the bcm, see what his ideas might be ....

    Allen programs the PCM not the BCM.

    Test ur wires. if u have an electrical problem thats a suggestion many people have told me before. here&#39;s the thing... if u tested everything else and didnt find it test ur wires. if ur getting power through a line and then ur fuse box isnt reacting its ur fuse box and so on. test everything and ull find ur source of failure. jmo.
