you can get most of the parts over Ebay, orielly and autozone. The engine can be bought at any salvage yard. The help can be found here. Check the LS1Conversion page for help, part numbers and anything else. The conversion has been done soooooo many times, up to 4 times personally here along with 2 LT1 conversions.

You will need your stock motor mounts and the reciever cups that mount to the engine block. The reciever cups will bolt to the adapter plates you buy off Ebay or from Street and Performance. Most guys use the Ebay versions, cheaper, thinner and quick shipping. The PCM will plug into a LS1 harness only. You'll have to wire in the LS1 harness into the factory harness. A ready made plug and play harness is the way to go if you're not sure of your wiring abilities. There are only like 5 or 7 wires you have to hook up and they are labeled. All you have to do is figure out which existing wires you already have do what. A wiring diagram from Chilton, haynes or books like that are a good start.
