Tunercats makes a pc based program to tune your vcm. Are you installing that engine in your 93? If so you might want to consider one with center bolt valve covers and one that is recommended for 87 up. The LO5 was the original engine GM part # 12520270 or #12568758.

would i be better to go with the 350 HO that gm puts out for the crate engines because i really don't want to use the stock style that gm puts out for the 1987-1995 it just doesn't have enough power for me. this is going in my 1993 chevy silverado. i need to have some power for pulling, and just because you can never have enough power. if anyone has any more suggestions for my please reply i could use all the suggestions anyone wants to give.

i didnt look at the link, but i think if you are referring to the old style engines (pre-88) that the accessory bolts in the front of the heads may not work with your tbi accessries? Im not real sure though.

but it should work if i choose to put vortec heads on and use gm performace parts vortec tbi intake.

well thanks for the info also found out the only what to use that motor is to use different heads or i would have to run a carberator. not what i want to do fuel injection is the only way i would go. unless the vehical came with a carb.

Like a yenko camaro now that needs a carb 750 demon carb thats cool.
