how old is it? is it stock... more info on the 350 would be needed, but isn't the ls1 technically a 350??? i figure most r gonna tell u the ls1 is gonna have the biggest aftermarket of any engine ever made, but idk depends on what all the 350 has done to it already.

Well the 350 is stock and is out of a 72 chevy pickup and no a ls1 is not a 350 a 350 is a 5.7L. no work has been done to the motor but if i do get it i will bore out the pistons about .40 over and after market injection.

What are you wanting to put it into? Some engine swaps are just totally illegal in anything but an 100% offroad vehicle.

dude ive got a 72 chevy truck in my driveway, and my 4.3 v6 seemed much more powerful than the 350. ur looking at upgrading a few things on the 350 if u wanna make it nice. the ls1 would be ready to blow and go stock. 350 is a great motor, but the ls1(350) is far advanced as far as efficiency and power goes.
