    the consensus is that the shorties are good for low rpm. For high rpm I always hear to go with long tubes. I will never again buy steel headers that are painted. Coated is the only way to go. Coated stainless is the best of both worlds, especially if you drive in the snow on salted roads.

    that is dirt cheap, i paid $449 for mine

    Just an observation, the part # in the above is JBA 1850S-3 but shows it for a 5.3 two other web sites list the JBA 1850S-3 for the 6.0
    and the JBA 1850S-2 for the 4.8 and 5.3

    I thought somebody might be interested. I was searching through their closeout specials and saw those. Since I had my headers already I figured I post them for someone else who might want a nice set of JBA headers at what I thought to be an incredibly low price.
