Thats usually the first sign you are about to lose 3rd gear. Do you have a stall in the vehicle in question? If so, you have to turn off 757 and 751, I think, to keep from destroying the transmission. Check out past posts about P0757. There have been many.

A Fuddle 3000 .....
Go into HPT and turn the codes off for those two and you will no longer have problems. The PCM detected slippage (convertor) at a given RPM and disables shifts into 3rd and 4th and unlocks the convertor permanently until the engine gets shut off and restarted. If you drive it too long like that you will fry the transmission.

So I turned pff the engine, came back a few hours later and the code was still there. Normal? But in the trans it will reset and keep the code?
Thanks
The PCM will reset after something like 5 drive sessions without a new error code popping up. Like I said, get those code disabled ASAP or be prepared to have the 3-4 clutch pack replaced.

Allen...........
that is a common issue we face when installing a 3000+ stall speed convertor in the 4L60 type transmissions. I had Allen disable mine and my transmission loves it now. He probably remember exactly which ones to turn off.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(RedHeartbeat @ Oct 29 2006, 05:30 PM) </div>Mine did the same thing after installing my TB converter. I raised my shift points (which were too low with the new converter) and the problem went away, even without disabling the code.that is a common issue we face when installing a 3000+ stall speed convertor in the 4L60 type transmissions. It would only do it if I eased away from a stop. As RedHeartbeat said, the computer thinks that the slipage of your converter is a slipping trans. When I upped the shift points to closer to the stall speed it eliminated some of the slippage. Before at very light throttle it would shift at around 1800rpm and there would be almost no change in rpm.
