Hey guys, with this week's of cams ordered, I went ahead and ordered one of those Fast wb units.
I opt'd for the single sensor (i'll add/upgrade to dual later) this time just to see how it works.
FAST w/b units

I'll keep you guys updated on how it works. Like most of you, my innovate puked on me after only a few months.

btw, I can get these for about $350 if you want one.

Allen you could have learned from my experience, 3 times in and eveyr time it lasted less than a day. The AEM sensor on the other hand rocks!

I've always used innovate and never had an issue, just lately, but when it does go bad, it's a pita to setup again.
The problem with mine: i'd get it all setup, then it would just hover around 11.8af after about 15mins of tuning.

AEM also has a controller, we'll see if the FAST unit is good enough,

The dual sensor FAST unit is the cat's ass. I'd love to have one of those one day.

I got it yesterday, I'll post up how it works. I can already see the dual upgrade coming right away if it works good.

What exactly does the controller read? Is it mainly used for tuning and are you able to use it with different tuning programs if it is used for tuning?

Ducky,

It reads the Air/Fuel ratio. I have an AEM on my truck with a single sensor after the turbo. A dual sensor can read each bank of the motor to make them run in unison with each other. These allow for better tuning. They are usually install after the cats I think?
I use mine to make sure I do not run lean under boost. If I do its bye bye motor.

I'm trying it out tomorrow, just haven't had time, but I will this week for sure!
It looks just like any other wb for tuning, a controller, o2sensor and wiring, but if it performs well, doesn't need calibration every use and reads correctly, I'll love it.

You install the sensors before the cats, you will get anywhere from .1-.3 leaner if you install it after the cats. My WB is 1-2% leaner than my stock o2 sensors even with no cats.
