So this afternoon was my first time ever at the track, and wow it was so much fun. Only took 2 passes and my 2nd run was my best at 15.933@85.64 mph. Was a little disapointed with that, my truck is a 02 chev 5.3 rsb Z71, w/ 4.10s headers and flowmaster cat back exhuast.

Any suggestions on how to improve my time but still keep it a practical daily driver?

    Thanks Justin

Sounds like you are ready for a NelsonPerformance.com tune. You'll improve your times tremendously with just a good tune. From there you can get about a 2800 rpm stall convertor, cold air induction, long tube headers... putting your truck on a diet is the first free thing you can do. Take off all things heavy that aren't needed, they waste fuel anyway.

Welcome to the site. Great way to post your number 1 post, reporting race day results.

    Welcome

The adiction begins and then the decision as to how far will you go... 13's or 12's

Get the tune first then save some money and get the STS turbo
