Hey guys, thanks for putting up with my stupid car post, lol.

My wife and I were heading to town to eat and right behind me is a new sports bike, not sure what kind because i don't keep up with that, but it was a 600cc Yamaha from what I remember.
At the light it's a car in front, me, then the bike. I wait for the car to take off, then spin the tires taking off to get his attention. It doesn't take much to get those bikers going, lol.
We turn left, and as soon as we do, I punch it, get in front of the car and get ready to merge on the highway.
I see him looking back like he's going to pass me up and get on the highway real quick.
I know I have a good chance becuase the ol truck used to beat 600cc's all the time.
As soon as we're getting on the access road, I punch it about 50mph (my perfect power band in that car) and we take off.
It's great, we're hauling ass!!!
Believe it or not, I'm slowly pulling this guy, when we hit third the distance it getting greater, by the time we hit about 135mph I've put about 10 car lengths between us!
He slowly passes and gives a thumps up. He'll think twice next time about messing with the car, lol.
I've seen him running around before and never really got a good race on him.
He should have bought the 750cc LOL.

For those who have a low 13sec truck, try it some time, you'll beat them, the 600cc's are just a little too slow, but watch out for those large cc bikes, the race is over pretty quick.

later,

Nice Kill Allen, I been trying to race my Raptor 660 against my truck, but I'll get a video later on lol. I have beat all my friends trucks, but just up to about 70mph then race its over.

Maybe I'm racing slow ones, but I've always been able to beat 600cc bikes or tie with them from a highway punch.
I'm sure they are a lot quicker from a stop and a race to the 1/4 mile, but not from a rolling start.
I'll try to hunt one down and video tape it next time.

A bike can obviously go a lot faster than 70mph, but that seems what happens, they start loosing around 100+, like there's no more torque to get them moving.
