    man, 12.5 is haulin ass tweaked or untweaked&#33; BTW , i was conversing with allen about the shift points on my truck and he said they should be at 6500 with my cam and he said yours are around 6700 - 7000? And you have no probs. I just wanted some more input, not that i dont trust his opinion but if you dont see any adverse effects on your 5.3 i&#39;ll feel better about 6500 on mine&#33;- THANKS

    well with the old cam on a 114 it would pull to 6800, now with the 112 it falls alittle shorter right around 6500 to 6600.

    yep you should be safe with 6500 shift points.

    oh yeah i was shifting at 6800 with stock pushrods and comp 915&#39;s lol, now i have the harden rods and patriot dual springs, because of the higher lift cam.

    That&#39;s cool, Dude. I have been impressed with that truck&#39;s performance from day one. Yeah, sounds like you need more tweaking. That cam ought to pull harder in the upper RPM band than your old one.
