I thought i read somewhere that you can get the start out tune and HPTuners from Allen. I can't remember where i saw this but if it is true i was wondering how much it whould be and how to go about buying it.

Maybe after you buy HPT Allen can sell you a base tune. I don't know how he feels about giving away his knowledge but you know people are stealing his tunes all the time. Hell, other tuners have bought tunes from Allen using assumed names to try and learn his tricks.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709
Yeah there are probably people all the time that try that. I've looked at soo many base tunes from over the internet, but I've never used a single one of anyone's tables. IMO it would be real hard to get close to one of his tunes!
As for getting the software, you have to go through hptuners directly.

How do I know? I have been doing this with Allen since December. He has quoted me a price to tune my vehicle and we have sent easily fifty tunes and logs back and forth. I have done a considerable amount of upgrades to my Avalanche since September and since Allen has been on board, my truck has come alive with his tunes. He has enormous patience for the tuning of ongoing mods.Yeah there are probably people all the time that try that. [/b]I know, I have probablty tested him a time or two.... Just give him a ring. He will guide you through the process. The best money I have spent to date has been Allen. He makes it easy to learn HP Tuners and when you need him he is there. My goal on my truck was 500RWHP. The day I saw it on the dyno, he was my first call.....
Good Luck
