    2001 gmc z71 5.3 w ls2 cam need info

I am new to this site and would like to start by saying thanks in advance for any help
    which I may receive!
    I built a 5.3 for my 01 z71
I put the flat top pistons in it and a set of 243 casting heads
I also put a ls2 cam and the ls2 front cover with sensor on it I changed the wiring
as ness and now I'm setting a p0342 cam sensor low voltage code I've never had any
issues with the cam sensor wiring before now
    please help as I'm a little confused 01 is a 12v system and the ls2 sensor is a 5v
    setup what can I do?

Did you swap the cam wires when you moved sensor to front

so I called Lingenfelter and spoke to a tech about my problem! I used a newer one bolt cam and sprocket
which was a mistake its a 4x sampling a 3 bolt cam and sprocket is a 2x and no one makes a 2x one bolt sprocket
at this time so I either live with it or I have to change the cam and sprocket
does anyone have a ls2 stock cam that is a three bolt setup? I'm on a strick budget expecially since
I'm a $1000.00 in to this motor already

Ls2 cam sprocket is all you need for a Gen3 pcm. its the 1 x setup and is a 3 bolt setup

new three bolt cam installed with 1x gear
truck was tuned yesterday and runs great we deleted the egr, the evap, and the rear o2's since I don't have cats
truck ran a 13.9 in 1/4 and was showing 105 mph on the computer
we ran her up to 130 but developed a vibration
she cracked a ujoint on the launch
im very happy with the results since this is my dd and I was looking for power, good mpg, and still have low end torque
