Has anyone seen a crew cab 5.3 that is remarkably fast? I've spent near $6k on mine and only ran 15.7 last night. 8psi sts, 2800 stall. Left the line @ 4-5 psi boost. Is the truck just too heavy?

Needless to say, it WILL go fast eventually. Just pissed off right now.

I wouldn't think the crew cab is a whole lot heavier than an extended cab.

I ran a 16.5 w/ a passanger last summer... drop them I'm at 16.3 roundabouts, that's N/A too. With your mods you should be FAR quicker than I am.

What was your MPH from the run and 60' time?

Dayumm dude !!!! SierraCrew has you beat, you must seriously be spinning off the line w/ that turbo spooled up. I think the Crew is down to very low 14's and possibly high 13's now that he's done some weight reduction and put on the slicks. The other night he ran consistent (sp.) 14.3-14.4's in the hot ass Texas heat and he's NATURALLY ASPIRATED !!! So you should be at least into the 13's. What was your 60' times??? I bet you were probably spinning through the 330' or the 1/8th to get that slow of a time. No offense but THAT SUCKS!!! You're probably just like me TRACTION IMPAIRED and need to borrow some slicks Hahahaha LOL...Zed

WRONG!
It takes my foot to the floor to even break loose in the staging lanes. Absolutely no loss of traction. 60' 2.47 330' 6.65 1/8th 10.2 1/4 15.7 @86.26 mph.

It is now obvious I need a retune. My opinion is, Allen, doing the right thing, was way too conservative on my mail order tune. I don't blame him. Without the dyno results you could hurt the motor.

Allen, if you're reading, please call me to schedule a dyno tune!!!!

<sigh> I wish I lived in Texas, so Allen could verify my tune on the dyno...

Sorry If I sounded harsh man just that I for sure thought that you were spinning BAD off the line but I see by your MPH that It is definatley in your tune. I mean thats almost stock. Also have you checked all your piping does it seem to have lost power or does it still drive the same. If so then tune most likely. Just get it down to Allen and he'll most definately fix you right up. Again sorry for sounding so harsh when I re-read my post I was hoping you wouldn't take it too hard...Zed

I cut a better 60' time w/o brake stalling, 2.3 sec. Something is amiss.

Check for leaks in the piping first off is what I'd do. It could be you're running very rich if all 8psi isn't getting into the motor.

Is the fuel pump getting full power?
