msd 6al2 and the factory ecm?

I am just about to order some parts ofr my lq4 to drop in my 70 c10. I want a 2 step rev limiter and cdi but I also want to run the factory ecm and just have it flashed. Is this possible?

if you want a 2 step or timing retarded then why not use a plug and play application like the LPE one?
