    Question Is a 2003 4L60E the same as a 2009 4L60E

Im a noob to LS1truck.com and I have a noob question, I just roasted the trans in my 03 Suburban and found a brand new transmission for a 2009 Silverado and was wondering if it will work in my 03?

I'm going to say no. The 09 units have some internal changes on the valve body and internal wiring. The pressure manifold switch has been removed in 09 and your tcm I believe is looking for inputs from it. Also the prndl switch is now in the trans so the main case connector has added pins. I think you may not be able to plug it in. Vince
