I have a 2005 LQ9 (6.0L). I have the stock air compressor, which is typically mounted at 7 o'clock, low on the passenger's side. The engine is mounted into a 1979 Chevy K10. I do not want to notch the frame. I am lloking for suggestions . . .

I could mount the compressor at 10 o'clock like a Corvette, but the only brackets I can find (S&P) fit a Sanden 508 compressor, not the stock unit I have. Does anyone know an aftermarket or GM bracket that would work?

I could also fabricate a bracket to position the compressor just above the frame but in the low 7 or 8 o'clock position.

Anyone have a design they have used for a custom bracket??

Battle won here. I ordered the S&Ps kit and Sanden 508. You need the mount, idler bracket with two pulleys and the tensioner rod.

I will be selling my stock a/c compressor and mount to recover a bit of the cost.
