Which is the cheaper swap into a 90 model truck. I have researched this some but I can either buy a vette Lt-1 or a 99 camaro Ls-1 with trans. Which would ya'll recommend to be the cheapest and easiest swap as far as headers, trans., and accesories? Thanks.

it's an even trade in my opinion. I have done it both ways. I would go with the LS1 for the newer technology and ease of PCM programming. Neither is plug and play and require a bit of work but it's worth it. Read my sig for a list of things I've used in my install.

LS1 man, I can keep up if not beat mildly moded LT1 F-bodies and my motor is stock and I got an open diff and 3.08 gears. I dont know about the swap but Im sure it would be about the same but trust me whatever money you save on an LT1 you'll gain it back with an LS1 on gas alone.
    Had a 91 SB, Open diff, 3.08 gears, stock LS1/T56. 14.8@95.9...sold.
    Now, 90 C1500 350tbi/NV3500....just bought a 5.3...need T56, Swap parts.....
