ok so i got it rebuilt in feb with abeast sun shell, trans go hd2 shift kit, blow prof ring kit/pump, hi perf band, hi perf center support, and a tranny cooler, and now it is acting up. on city streets it holds 1st forever goes to 2nd and when it shifts to 3rd it just revs up. on the highway it will do the same i shift it to 2nd take it to 4000rpm and then shift to 3rd and can only take it to 65mph no 4th gear. going down hill it feels like it is jerking an other car on a chain. and the check engine light just came on. what the hell is going on?

checked fluid, I assume? Transmission warm, parked on level ground, engine running, gear selector in park?

DBC or DBW? Being an 03 I think DBW.

might want to checl the air intake might be off or leaking and giving false reading

what do you mean like the intake tube or like the manifold it self?
