I just got my heads built up and milled. Since it will be running a little more compression and I upgraded from 1.5 to 1.6 rollar rockers , and also an aggressive valve job. Should the spark plug gap be increased due to this modification?

The reason I am wondering because at WOT the 1st to 2nd gear shift has a pop sound in the exhaust pipes, like it is burning the excess fuel off.

The last time I heard that noise was when my cats were blown out. The gases must swirl around in the empty cavity until they finally explode.
