    drop kit suggestions

hey all as many of you know i recently bought an RST silverado, well it sits way to high for my liking and currently has a ground force 2/4 drop kit. 2 inch coils in the front and a shackle and hanger kit in the rear. i cant seem to find any products by ground force to make it a 4/5. my thought was doing a 2 inch spindle out front to make it 4 inches but does anyone know what i can do to get 1 more inch in the rear? i refuse to do a flip kit with all the problems my old one caused on my 98. and will mixing ground force springs and say belltech spindles cause issues? thanks for the help guys.

    kyle

+1 on the overload spring, better for traction too, unless you tow/haul alot you shouldnt notice a difference. And mixing brands shouldnt be an issue

Mcgaughys spindles are superior to belltech. They keep the steering geometry the same as stock. They are a little pricier, but you get what you pay for.

McGaughy's (pronounced "McGoy's", found this out after I pissed the sales rep off ) has awesome products, but not the best customer service. The tech guys always seemed like they are pissed and don't want to talk to you. Their kits are top notch and complete. Just make 100% sure the kit fits your application before purchasing!

IIRC they also sell them on SummitRacing.com and you don't have to deal with the nasties and returns is a piece of cake if you must.

as far as removal of the overload leaf spring i check my truck this morning and there are 3 leafs i take it the overload spring is the middle? so that leaves the one attached to the hanger and shackle and the smallest bottom leaf correct? just seemed odd there would only be 3 the OBS trucks have 4 if im not mistaken..
